Matilda - In Collaboration with the Fort Wayne Civic Theatre

Matilda is a little girl with astonishing wit and intelligence. While unloved by her cruel parents, she impresses her school teacher, the aptly named Miss Honey. Matilda and Miss Honey have a profound effect on each other’s lives, as Miss Honey 

begins not only to recognize but also appreciate Matilda’s extrodinary personality. Matilda’s school life isn’t completely smooth sailing as the school’s mean headmistress, Miss Trunchbull, hates children and just loves thinking up new punishments for those who don’t abide by her rules. But Matilda’s courage, cleverness and special powers could be the students’ saving grace! - Rated PG-13

Callbacks will be Monday - 11/18 - 7-10pm at the AUC (*Note kids to be dismissed by 9pm).

Please come prepared with a traditional musical theatre up-tempo song (32 measures) or ballad (16 measures) which shows off your voice range & character. Selections should be no linger than 90 seconds. Be sure to bring sheet music (not just lyrics but actual piano music) in the correct key. Do not expect the pianist to transpose music on sight. Have all cuts or repetitions clearly marked. Place your music in a binder or tape the sheets together for the benefit of the accompanist. Pianist is provided.
